Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law.

Who is responsible

The party responsible for your data is the “Saudi Labor Law” platform (slaborlaw.com), run by its founder, Abdullah Saud Al-Mutairi. Privacy enquiries: privacy@slaborlaw.com.

What we collect

  • Mailing list: your email address, your role (interested user or lawyer/consultant), the page language and the date of your consent.
  • Visit statistics: aggregated numbers only (page, language, device type, referring site). We do not store your IP address or browser; unique visitors are counted with a temporary encrypted fingerprint that changes daily and is deleted within two days. The “I like the idea” button works the same way.
  • Server security logs: IP address, request time, page and browser type, to protect the site from attacks.
  • Your messages: whatever you send us by email.

What we don’t do

  • We do not use cookies.
  • We do not use third-party trackers or advertising.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing.

Storage in your browser

We store only the following in your browser: your chosen language, that you pressed “I like the idea”, and that you have seen the assistant window. This stays on your device and is never sent to us; you can delete it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Why we use your data

  • Mailing list: with your explicit consent, to tell you about the launch and development milestones.
  • Security logs: to protect the site and its visitors from attacks.
  • Aggregated statistics: to understand and improve how the platform is used.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Data is stored on the platform’s server with the hosting provider DigitalOcean in Germany, and emails with the mail provider Hostinger. Only the platform’s management can access it. Addresses of devices attacking the site may be shared with security services to block them; this never includes ordinary visitors.

How long we keep it

  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, then deleted.
  • Statistics fingerprints: two days.
  • Server logs: 14 days, then deleted automatically. Addresses of attacking devices may be kept longer to block them.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

  • Know how your data is collected and used.
  • Access your data and obtain a copy.
  • Correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time.

Write to privacy@slaborlaw.com and we will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

How we protect it

We protect your data with an encrypted connection (HTTPS), a firewall and systems that detect and block attacks, and access limited to the platform’s management. If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to security@slaborlaw.com.

Minors

The platform is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy and will show the last-updated date at the top of this page; subscribers will be informed of any material change.
