About the platform

“Saudi Labor Law” is an independent, non-governmental, volunteer and non-profit online platform. It is not affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development or any official body, and is run by its founder, Abdullah Saud Al-Mutairi.

Nature of the content and disclaimer

  • Legal texts are published for reference; the authoritative version is the one published by the official authorities.
  • Posts by members and experts are the personal or professional opinions of their authors and are neither legal advice nor an authoritative legal reference.
  • The platform does not offer paid consultations and accepts no liability for any decision you make or harm arising from reliance on its content.
  • For your own case, consult a licensed lawyer or the competent official authority.

Acceptable use

Users agree to:

  • Not publish personal data about themselves or others, such as ID, Iqama or mobile numbers, or names of people and companies.
  • Not abuse, defame or impersonate anyone, including impersonating a lawyer or an official body.
  • Not post advertisements, request money, or lure others into private contact to sell paid services.
  • Not attempt to hack or disrupt the site or scrape it in a way that burdens the server. Vulnerabilities should be reported under our vulnerability disclosure policy.

Accounts and membership

These apply once accounts are launched:

  • Users are responsible for the accuracy of their information and the secrecy of their login details.
  • The “Verified Consultant” status is granted after moderator review and may be withdrawn.
  • Moderators may hide any infringing post or suspend an infringing account.

Intellectual property

  • Legal texts are public property of their official sources.
  • The site’s design, logo and content organisation belong to the platform.
  • Authors keep the rights to their posts and grant the platform a non-exclusive licence to display them.
  • You may quote the site with attribution and a link.

External links

The site may link to other websites; the platform is not responsible for their content or policies.

Changes and discontinuation

We may amend these terms and will show the last-updated date at the top of this page; continuing to use the site means you accept them. Any service may be suspended or changed at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its competent courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
